DEE-Ltd has developed a light multi-role all-terrain military platform.
The company’s successful specialist defence vehicle business to date has been undertaken with strategic partner Enhanced Protection Systems (EPS) and the two companies have recently matured their work together into a new joint venture, known as Ascender Vehicles Limited.
WhippetIts light, two-seater all-terrain platform, Whippet 2, will commence trials shortly, before a planned demonstration tour of key export and emerging markets overseas. Powered by a Lombardini diesel engine, driving through automatic transmission, the multi-role vehicle is designed for air or heli-borne insertion directly into military theatres.
