MITSUBISHI ASX DESIGNER EDITION

Mitsubishi Motors Malaysia is set to make a bold fashion statement with the introduction of the Mitsubishi ASX Designer Edition. The award-winning compact SUV receives stylish makeover from Malaysian design talent Rizalman. The collaboration is unique in Malaysia, bringing together a local designer and a Japanese car brand.

Limited to just 180 units, the ASX Designer Edition is available only with the 4WD variant and in Titanium Grey, and is priced at RM 131, 801.50 on the road without insurance.

The special edition features matte finished 17-inch alloy rims, and its sporty outlook is complemented by matte grey body stripes that run the length of the bonnet and rear hatch door. Additionally, the standard bee-sting type antenna is replaced by a specially-developed shark-fin antenna; a larger rear spoiler with integrated LED third brake light and a dark chrome exhaust finisher complete the stealthy yet classy treatment.

Moving into the cabin, the makeover is even more evident with an all-new colour combination for the leather seats and main passenger touch points. Grey and yellow are chosen, resulting in an interior that is uplifted from the already premium ambience. Taking centre stage in the ASX Designer Edition’s cabin is the exclusive hand sewn grey and yellow leather gear knob with diamond stitching. The exclusivity of the interior is further enhanced in the specially selected perforated leather applied on the key touch points; namely the door panels and arm-rests, along with high gloss panel finish on the door arm-rests and floor mats with Designer Edition emblem.

“The locally-assembled, award-winning Mitsubishi ASX compact SUV has captured the hearts of Malaysians since deliveries began in February this year. However, we wanted to offer something that is unique to our customers. This is when we decided to collaborate with Malaysia’s fashion designer Rizalman Ibrahim to create a limited edition ASX with exclusive aesthetics and a personalized touch,” said Tetsuya Oda, Chief Executive Officer of MMM.
