CHEVROLET COLORADO HIGH COUNTRY

The Colorado is Chevrolet’s most important product in Thailand. And the High Country is its flagship, which matches any lifestyle.

The exterior and interior have been redesigned and this top spec version is really an ideal truck for work and hobby purposes as well. The nameplate comes from Chevrolet’s top-level full-size pickup truck sold in North America. And with High Country version, Chevrolet has spared no efforts in aiming to differentiate it from other pickup trucks in Thailand.

The newest iteration of the Colorado features a distinctive and sporty front fascia along with the Dark Chrome Mask headlamps, dual tone light grey and black grille and nudge bar. It is equipped with transverse roof-rack bars, a stylized sports bar, chromed rear-door belt-line molding, and mirror scalps. Completing the fancy look is a chromed/blackened tailgate handle and 18 alloy wheels.

The Colorado High Country has a premium interior design with genuine leather. The driver’s seat can be adjusted electrically in six-ways. The cabin space is quite impressive, the legroom is more than generous, headroom is adequate.

The next-generation infotainment and navigation system comes with an 8-inch high-definition touchscreen and with advanced smartphone connectivity. Users can access personal playlists and make hands-free voice calls, amongst other functions. To maneuver in Bangkok’s tight urban confines, the rear view camera comes handy, that activates when reverse gear is engaged.

The flagship Colorado is powered by the Duramax four-cylinder turbo-diesel Variable Geometry Turbo-Diesel (VGT) engine paired with a six-speed automatic transmission with manual mode. The engine generates maximum power of 200 HP at 3,600 rpm and maximum torque of 500 Nm at 2,000 rpm, making the new Colorado the most powerful in its class.

The engine provides excellent acceleration straight-line performance and payload capacity. It has a towing capacity of up to 3.5 tons. Navigation off the road is easier thanks to electronic shift on-the-fly (ESOF).

The Chevy Colorado is a nice and good pickup truck. It offers easy handling and smooth drive on and off road. Loaded with a numerous comfy and safety features, it is definitely one of the top pickup trucks on the market.
