OUTLANDER PHEV COMPLETES AXCR FOR SECOND STRAIGHT YEAR
A Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV plug-in hybrid electric four-wheel drive SUV, entered and managed by the Two & Four Motor Sports rally team supported by Mitsubishi Motors Corporation (MMC), successfully completed the FIA-certified Asia Cross Country Rally 2014 (AXCR) in its T1E class (electric vehicle class).
FACTORY SUPPORT FOR OUTLANDER PHEV COMPETING IN ASIA CROSS COUNTRY RALLY
Mitsubishi Motors Corporation announced that it will dispatch a team of technical support engineers for an Outlander PHEV entered in the T1.3 4×4 Electric class of the grueling 2,200 km FIA-certified Asia Cross Country Rally 2014 (AXCR) from August 9 through 15, to be run from Thailand to Cambodia.

As preparations for the start of production of the Outlander PHEV were underway in Japan, Mitsubishi Motors Corporation took its technology flagship to a last and most unexpected reliability exercise – cross country racing.
