WORLD DEBUT OF PORSCHE’S COMPACT SUV
Porsche is showcasing its new SUV for the first time in Los Angeles. The Macan will be unveiled on the eve of the trade fair event on November 19.
ETERNITI’S FIRST SUPER-SUV
Eterniti Motors, the London-based boutique luxury carmaker, unveild the engineering prototype of its first car at Beijing’s Auto China 2012 international motor show. The car, named Artemis, is the world’s first Super-SUV – a term created by Eterniti for a new class of vehicle providing the higher levels of luxury, performance and exclusivity.
NEW CAYENNE GTS
Porsche is set to unveil the second-generation Cayenne GTS at the Beijing International Automotive Exhibition, also known as Auto China, on April 24, 2012. Based on the Cayenne S, this new model is equipped with 20 additional horsepower, a 20 mm lower ride height and a lower final drive ratio for improved driving dynamics.
NEW PORSCHE SUV TO BE NAMED MACAN
Porsche today confirms the name for its forthcoming new sports car in the SUV segment is Macan. The name Macan is derived from the Indonesian word for tiger and combines suppleness, power, fascination and dynamics – core characteristics of this new all-terrain car.
100.000th LATEST GENERATION CAYENNE
The 100,000th second generation Cayenne was assembled in Leipzig at Porsche’s Saxony site. The second generation of the Cayenne has been produced in Leipzig since 2009 with the sports car manufacturer delivering over 360.00 units of the first generation to customers since 2002.
