It’s mission accomplished. “This warming up event based on RFC Prologue SS, is the biggest off-road challenge event ever held in the country,” smiled Tran Hung, the RFC Vietnam Rep and chairman of the Vietnam Off Road Club, based in Ha Noi.
“We are testing ourselves, the coordination, the players and the authorities. When Vietnam joins the RFC global series, we’ll be ready,” he added. This is a harbinger of more things to come. Among those present were VIPs from the Sports Ministry followed by the local print and TV media. How things look, 4×4 sports tourism a la RFC is to stay here. Tran Hung, together with Vinh (RFC 2010 ), Hien and the rest of the organising committee did a splendid job in bringing in the authorities, local business communities, teams together for a great weekend show. RFC International sent Daniel Liew, our RFC Sabah Rep to assist the club and to provide technical back-up for the event. He was full of praise for the hard working committee. “They are not only passionate about this sports but also fast learners, very satisfying working with them,” commented Daniel. Vietnam is a dynamic and vibrant country, full of enthusiasm and youthful energy and this type of 4×4 sports tourism event is definitely a public attraction. Man, machine, demanding terrain, guts, glory, camaraderie and drama. Congratulations to Vietnam Off-Road Club. Vietnam is getting ready for RFC.
