2000 KM FROM THAILAND TO LAOS
Asia Cross Country Rally (AXCR) is held in August every year, starting from Thailand and throughout other Asian countries, in various regions, road surface conditions, nature and climate characteristic of Asia, such as mountains, jungles, beaches, plantations or circuits.
Since the first rally in 1996 until 2013, the race has run through 8 countries so far: Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, China, Laos, Vietnam, Cambodia and Myanmar. The course or countries vary every year and the rally marks its 18th this year.
The organizers announced the 2013 route at recently held press conference in Bangkok.
2013 rally will kick off with the ceremonial start at the famous beach resort in the Kingdom of Thailand, Pattaya, on 10th August. After the selective section in Thailand with high speed and techniques, the rally goes into the Lao People’s Democratic Republic in 15th August. It is the fifth time after 7 years since the rally is held in Laos in 2006. The road conditions in Laos change when it rains and challenges the durability of car parts, not to mention the bodies of cars and bikes. Finish is scheduled at Pakse, in the south of the Laos.

10 August Pattaya, Ceremonial Start and Prologue
11 August Pattaya – Sakaeo
12 August Sakaeo – Sakaeo
13 August Sakaeo – Buri Ram
14 August Buri Ram – Ubon Rachathani
15 August Ubon Rachathani – Pakse (Laos)
16 August Pakse – Pakse and Ceremonial Finish, Prize giving
